Tyra Banks Bio With Pictures (1)

About Tyra Lynne Banks was born on December 4, 1973. Her stunning beauty and vivacious personality have helped establish her as a popular television personality who juggles the many hats of model, actress, executive producer, and talk show host.
Tyra the ModelTyra is one of the most famous fashion models ever to grace a runway. During her prosperous modeling career, her most well known gig and claim to fame was wearing the title of a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She was also the first African American woman to be featured on the Cover of GQ and Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue.

When Thin Was In
During a time where skinny was considered chic, Tyra stood out with her voluptuous figure, proving that you don’t have to be thin as a rail to be considered sexy. She reported that she was not going to starve herself to compete with other very thin models.
Tyra left the modeling business in 2005.
Tyra the ActressIf you are a Will Smith fan, you may remember Tyra from her days on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. After a stint as Jackie, Will’s girlfriend, she went on to appear on the television show Felicity. She went on to play many small roles in both television and film. She also costarred in Life-Size opposite Lindsay Lohan

Tyra the producere

the year 2000, Tyra began to broaden her horizons. Today, she is the head judge, host, and executive producer of the UPN television hit America’s Next Top Model.
Tyra the Talk Show HostIn 2005, the Tyra Banks show entered the television lineup. Similar in many ways to Oprah, Tyra’s show deals with real issues facing women today. Her contagious smile, sincere concern, and warm personality are just a few of the reasons why the network has renewed the show for another season.

CariDee: "[Melrose] Gave Me A Run For My Money"
Friday December 8, 2006
Here are some highlights from my interview with CariDee, the new winner of America's Next Top Model:
Congratulations! It must have been so hard keeping the secret that you had won. Tell me what that was like. The thing that was hard was not letting people know that I was even on the show. That was the hardest part. They didn't know until September. So, while you were keeping the secret, were you just kind of preparing yourself for this big change that you knew was about to happen in your life?Definitely. I realized that things were about to change so I just wanted to enjoy the moment. Will you be moving to New York?Yes. I plan to move to New York in the middle of January. Is that scary? No, it's exciting. It's sad. I'm leaving my friends. But it's exciting. Do you plan to keep in touch with the girls from the show? Absolutely. They affected my life a lot. They are very sweet. Besides winning, of course, what was the best thing that came out of the competition?I really loved winning the guest part on One Tree Hill. That could open a lot of doors too. That was really awesome. Do you see yourself acting as well as modeling?Absolutely. I mean modeling is just like silent acting. Was Melrose a tough person to compete against in the finals?Absolutely! She gave me a run for my money. I definitely didn't have it hands down. That's for sure. Looking back at the show, was there any moment that made your cringe or say 'I wish they didn't air that'?They kind of just blew up the whole comment I made to Nigel, which was ridiculous because he actually joked back. But I understand why they did it. I was just like 'Oh, come on.' I just felt like I had to explain myself. And also with my commercial (inaudible)...It was my first run through. It wasn't my final cut. I wasn't great but it wasn't as bad as how it was.You mentioned on the show that you were in a dark place at one point in your life and you revealed [that you attempted suicide]. Do you regret bringing it up on the show or are you glad that you talked about it?I just have no comment on that. I didn't physically try to do anything. It was just like I thought about it a lot. Did Tyra give you any advice after you won?Just be yourself. Be yourself and be smart. Live it up but don't take yourself too seriously. Don't get caught up in the things that living this lifestyle can bring -- which I don't at all. Will Tyra always be an influence in your life?Absolutely. If it wasn't for Tyra, I wouldn't be here. All of the success that I will ever have started with her. I'll always be grateful for that.

interview dengan dani evans

: Congratulations on your win! It must have been such a hard secret for you to keep! D: Not really because I didn't want to get sued by anybody, so I kept quiet.
L: Your phone must have been ringing off the hook when the episode aired. D: I was a smart girl and I went and got my number changed, like two days before.
L: I don't blame you. So, how does it feel to be America's Next Top Model?D: It's like a dream come true. I am so happy that I am in the position that I am in today. I'm a face of Cover Girl...I'm really looking forward to hitting those runways and magazines and everything.
L: It has been one week since it was revealed that you won. How has your life changed in that time? D: I'm still the same person -- the same girl from the South. But I think now, people know my name. And it's great. The first time someone screamed when they saw me, it just cracked me up. It was so funny to me. It's great.
L: How did you feel about Tyra making a big deal about your accent? D: It was frustrating, to say the least. I wasn't offered a dialect coach in the house. I didn't understand how I was supposed to overcome it when I didn't have the correct guidance...but I just went home and worked on it a little bit.
L: Some people are saying there are models from other countries doing ad campaigns in America, and nobody says anything about their accents. Do you feel the same way?D: Yes. I definitely feel the same way. And that's one of the things that I was thinking about when I was constantly being criticized. There are girls from Brazil who have an ad campaign and they speak on commercials and no one thinks badly about them having an accent. It was kind of difficult. I didn't understand if it was because I was from the South and had an accent. I didn't understand that too much.
L: You had the gap in your teeth closed while you were on the show. How do you feel about that now? D: I'm OK with it. It took a little time getting used to, because I have a smaller gap now. I am kind of glad that I kept it a little bit because I had planned on that being one of my signature trademarks throughout my career.
L: Do you know if you'll be doing any overseas traveling this year? D: All I know now is that my new home is going to be in New York. I'm really excited. I have about two weeks at home in Little Rock, Arkansas and then I move to New York for good.
L: Do you idolize any of the past Top Model winners? D: I don't idolize any of them. I plan on being that girl who makes her own statement. Not labeled as Danielle, the Next Top Model winner. I want to be known as Danielle the supermodel. I want to go down my own path.
L: I've seen Eva Pigford doing shows on BET and MTV. She's in Jamie Foxx's video...Would you be interested in that kind of stuff also? D: I'm looking more toward the high fashion, modeling side. She's doing great. But I don't necessarily want that to be my main path. I can do appearances in places, but I want to be known for the runways and magazines, not for the videos and the appearances.
L: Will you be keeping in touch with the other girls? D: Definitely. I've come away with some good friendships so I will definitely be keeping in touch with the other girls.

interview dengan naima

Mohawk-wearing waitress Naima Mora has been crowned the fourth winner of America's Next Top Model. She wins a management contract with Ford Models, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl, and the opportunity to appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine. Here's what the soft-spoken 20 year old from Detroit had to say after her big win.
How does it feel to be America’s Next Top Model? Amazing! Absolutely amazing! It’s so different. I didn’t expect any of this. It’s pretty unbelievable. I’m really pretty speechless. There’s not one word that I can give you to describe how I feel right now.
How hard was it to keep the secret from your family and friends? It was very, very hard at first. People are so into the competition and America’s Next Top Model so they really asked some tricky questions. It was hard but I kind of got used to it and I would just kind of tease my friends and joke with them.
How did you celebrate last night?I was with the other models. We had a party that Nigel Barker threw.
Now that you are the winner of America’s Next Top Model, what are you most looking forward to? I want to start working so bad. I am working already but I want to really be on those photo shoots and be on the runway. I also want to meet a lot of the fans of the show who rooted for me and voted for me as Cover Girl Of The Week every week.
I know! I was going to ask you about Cover Girl Of The Week. That must have been like icing on the cake because you knew you won the whole thing. Was it cool to know that the fans felt the same way as the judges did?It was cool. It was very, very cool. I never thought anywhere in my mind or my heart or my body that I would have such a good reception from all of America and those judges. It’s pretty mind blowing. I am amazed by it and I feel very appreciative of it as well.
Do you still wear a Mohawk? Yes. I still have a Mohawk. It’s growing in. I’m growing my hair a little bit but I still style it like a Mohawk.
I think it was Brittany last week who told me you’re the only person who could wear a Mohawk and make people jealous of it.[Laughs]
Did you watch the show last season? Yes. I watched a little bit of it.
Do you want to get any tips from (that season’s winner) Eva? Have you met? I met her once actually. Just on the street. I was doing my waitress job and I walked out and she was just walking down the street and I introduced myself. We didn’t talk too much. I didn’t spill the beans to her or anybody else. I just sort of said Hello. Now that I am part of the Cover Girl family, I hope that she will give me some pointers.
Are you single right now or are you dating someone? I am dating someone. It’s very new. We’ll see how it works out, but I feel really bad because I really don’t have time for him right now. (Laughs) I’m sort of like what a weird relationship!
You had some issues from your past that were kind of holding you back when you were on the show? Have you moved past those issues now? Everybody wakes up sometimes and thinks it’s a bad hair day or I don’t want to go out today. But the low self confidence, it’s gone. And I feel amazing. I’m very, very proud of myself. I don’t feel like a teenage girl anymore. I feel like a beautiful woman and a flower that has blossomed.

interview dengan nicole

Nicole Linkletter was crowned the winner of America's Next Top Model 5 during Wednesday night's finale. She wins a management contract with Ford Models, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, and the opportunity to appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine. The 20-year-old student from Grand Forks, N.D couldn't be more excited. Here's what she had to say the day after the Top Model finale.
My Interview With NicoleHi Nicole. Congratulations! Thank you. How are you feeling today? Good. Really good. It's starting to sink in and it feels really great. Was it hard keeping it from your family and friends? It was really hard keeping it from them. Yes. It's like this secret that you want to tell everyone and you can't tell anyone. Are they ringing your phone off the hook now?Yes. Everyone is calling me today. They were all freaking out last night. You were at the finale party last night, right?Yes. How was it?The finale party was great. Just getting to see all the girls and just hang out. Everyone was low key. No drama. When you tried out for the show, did you think you would end up being the Next Top Model?I think you have to go into it with that attitude or noone else will think that you're going to be the Top Model. Everyone should go into it thinking that. What was the best part of the experience for you?Just meeting everyone that we met. Totally. We met so many great people. What was the worst part? Not having your support system there. That was hard because during panel you kind of get brought down sometimes. It's hard when you don't have your people there to bring you up again. What are you most looking forward to about the next year?I am most looking forward to being a Ford model and a Cover Girl and whatever comes with it. I'm looking forward to moving to New York and starting out. This is the beginning, not the end. It's exciting. Are you nervous about moving to New York?I am slightly nervous. You know, you have to be going from a small town to a big city. But I'm more excited than I am nervous. It's going to be awesome. How did your life change when you went back home after doing the show?It was kind of weird. People in my town are really chill and they don't really make a big deal about it. So I was just going to classes and a lot of people would ask me questions and a lot of people would stare at me but it was good. It was fine. It was a nice way to get a break because the girls who lived in the big cities were getting a lot of attention. I figured that when this was done with, it would be my time. What did you enjoy doing more? Modeling on the runway or modeling for photos?I don't know. I love the runway. There's something about it that's just so fun.You worked it on that last runway challenge. Thanks, girl! So, is the drama with Bre forgotten now?Yes. I'm not a person who holds grudges. We're cool. She's a nice girl. The competition just got to her a little bit. She started acting out and it wasn't cute but it's over with now. Would you ever do another reality show, like how [season one winnner] Adrienne did The Surreal Life? No. I want to be a model. That's why I did the show. I don't really think of it as a reality show. I think of it as an opportunity and something I did to get myself into the industry. I didn't do it for reality TV.
